I haven’t posted in the last week due to being deeply involved in mapping the New Zealand Curriculum to enable us to hack it into a better design for learning. This is still an ongoing process so I will blog about it in depth later on but here’s a few photos that may give you an idea of what us Specialised Learning leaders have been up to:
If you can make more sense out of my thoughts than I can then please add your voice to this emerging picture!
Hi Steve. It looks like you guys are doing some great work. It would really interesting to pull the NZC document apart and put it back together. I’ll really interested to see where you guys take it. A little ways off, but I’m going to be back in NZ around Christmas. I’m wondering if you guys will be at school because I’d love to come and have a look if possible.
Cheeky bloody Australians:)
Cheers
Tony
Thanks Tony, would love to catch up when you’re back. Get in contact closer to the time and we can organise a good chat about it all
You said it Tony :), and me too Steve when I get back from my travels. I love the hacked look.
Thanks Sonya, will be interesting to see how it compares with what you have seen overseas
I can’t wait to get into the ‘office’ tomorrow and check out those post-it’s – I know you will have done some amazing analysis and sythesis work over the week – looking forward to your explanation! Where did the term touchstones emerge from? nice work!
